- Why is it that we can detect, and are drawn to, different traits of different dogs -- boxers are great with kids, poodles are smart but sometimes nip, border collies are otherworldly brilliant -- but if it is a negative trait -- pit bulls are aggressive -- it's blasphemy.

- Sandusky is obviously the most repulsive, cringe-inducing person on the planet. BUT...(and I know this won't be popular) his wife may have been afraid of him (he DID threaten one of his victim's family). She may have an alcohol or pill addiction and have been unconscious every evening.

- How about we inject a few facts in this discussion? 1) Kitzhammer is a Democrat. 2) He is also a physician, bound by oath to "first of all, do no harm." 3) In his previous term as governor, he allowed two executions to occur and has never gotten over it.

- I thought Herman Cain was supposed to be the "fresh face" and the "Washington outsider." He was CEO of the Restaurant Association! That's a huge, huge LOBBYING group. He knows how it works. Money in, wishes granted. This folksy thing is a complete sham.
